GE LM2500
The most widely deployed aeroderivative gas turbine in the world. AMP carries deep inventory across LM2500 part numbers and supports operators with rotable exchange and managed overhaul programs.
About the LM2500
GE's most reliable aeroderivative gas turbine since the 1970s, derived from the TF39 and CF6-6 aircraft engines. Configurations from 20–25 MW; the LM2500+ delivers up to 30.5 MW.
Originally derived from the GE TF39 and CF6-6 aircraft engines, the LM2500 entered service in the early 1970s and has logged tens of millions of operating hours across power generation, commercial marine propulsion, and gas-pipeline compression duty.
How AMP Supports LM2500 Operators
We hold inventory across the full range of LM2500 part categories — combustion components, hot-section parts, fuel and air-management accessories, controls, and consumables — in conditions from new through serviceable, repaired, and overhauled.
For unscheduled removals, we run an exchange bench on the common rotables: actuators, bleed valves, pumps, starters, and VSV controls. For larger-scope work, our managed overhaul program routes components through licensed third-party MROs including Chromalloy and MTU.
